This is such an interesting thing to point out, and I wonder how many stories lie behind this idea, taking into consideration that we read this metaphorically, of course.
What a great article! I think it’s more than sensible to think about whether we can trust our own judgement when we’re so often deluded by our own biases or simply the way we’re programmed to react to things.
